Bulls’ Bulls team has not ruled out starting rookie Niko Price in Game 2
The Chicago Bulls and their rookie Nikko Price are continuing to talk, despite a calf injury, sources told the Chicago Tribune.
Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg told reporters Tuesday that the team has been trying to figure out what to do with Price, who is listed as day-to-day after missing Game 1 with an Achilles injury.
“He’s not ready yet, but we’re trying to evaluate what he can do and what we need to do,” Hoibergo said.
“I think it’s safe to say that we’ll have to start him in the game.”
The Bulls have won two of three against the Sacramento Kings, but have not beaten the Kings since March 9, 2012.
The Bulls play the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night in their second game of a three-game series.
