Stars in Stars and Stripes are ‘ready to make this right’ for the 2016-17 season
Stars and Stickers is reporting the Stars have reached agreement with their former AHL partner, the Worcester Sharks, on a four-year deal worth $8.5 million annually.
The contract is the first for the Stars since the team purchased the AHL franchise in March, 2019.
It is the latest move in the team’s rebuild from a disastrous 2017-18 season, when it went 19-62-4 and was in the midst of a major trade.
It was a disappointing season that ended with the Stars having to re-sign defenseman Antoine Roussel and goalie Jussi Jokinen.
